This protocol was established in the frame of a FP7 EU project OCTIPS (Ovarian Cancer – Innovative Models Prolong Survival; Contract No. 279113).
In this protocol, we describe the collection and processing of tumor tissues from high grade serous ovarian cancer patients, the extraction of DNA and RNA from fresh frozen tumor tissues, from paraffin-embedded tissues and from EDTA blood, the construction of tissue microarray (TMA), and the establishment of cell lines from ascites and tumor tissues.
