Ethics approval and consent to participate
The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki on the ethical principles established for research involving human subjects and the ethical guidelines for clinical studies published by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine (protocol code C1291 andDecember 2017).All participants provided written informed consent for participation after receiving an explanation of the purpose and procedures of the study. This study has been registered at the UMIN Clinical Trials Registry (registration number: UMIN000030484).
