Ethics approval and consent to participate
The IT‐DIAB (Innovation Thérapeutique‐Diabète) study is registered as NCT01218061 and NCT01432509. The IT-DIAB study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of Tours University Hospital (CPP “Ouest I”, approval n ̊2010-S2); the DiabeNord study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of Amiens University Hospital (CPP “Nord-Ouest II”, approval n ̊2011/24).
The MONA (Metabolism Obesity Nutrition Age) study is registered as NCT02161926. The MONA study protocol was approved by the French Comité de Protection des Personnes and the Agence Nationale de Sécurité du Médicament et des Produits de Santé.
The MAPT (Multidomain Alzheimer Preventive Trial) study is registered as NCT00672685. The MAPT study protocol was approved by the French Health Authority and authorized by the advisory Committee for the Protection of Persons involved in Biomedical Research of the Toulouse University Hospital.
All of the reported investigations have been carried out in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki as revised in 2008. All participants provided their written informed consent for research use of the anonymized data collected according to local regulation.
