A new non-isolated dc-dc boost converter topology is proposed in this study based on the voltage-lift technique. The proposed converter has higher voltage gain during higher duty cycles compared to other recent dc-dc boost converters. This converter provides a common ground between load and source, so it can be used to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). The analyses conducted in CCM indicate a reduction in losses and switching stress besides simpler switching controllability, lower costs, and smaller size of the circuits. The experimental results confirm the reliability and validity of the theoretical basis of the study.
