Jinxin Zhang received the Bachelor’s degree in precision instrument engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1989, the Master’s degree in medical statistics from Shanxi Medical University, Taiyuan, Shanxi, China, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in medical statistics from Air Force Medical University, Xi’an, Shaanxi, in 2000. From 1989 to 2000, he was a Technician and then a Technologist at Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University. In 2000, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. In 2003, he became a Lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University. Since 2004, he has been an Associate Professor at Sun Yat-sen University and then a Professor at Sun Yat-sen University in 2023. His research interests include research design, time series analysis and statistical prediction.
