4.2 Questionnaire scores
The average scores of knowledge, attitudes and practices indexes are 80.24%, 83.62% and 87.95% respectively. In the knowledge index, the current development of humanistic care, the essence of humanistic care, and the basic requirements for implementing humanistic care scored the lowest, with average scores of 65.20%, 77.80%, and 78.60%, respectively. In the attitudes, humanistic care can reduce the number of days of hospitalisation, the starting point of nurses' care, and whether nurses' humanistic care should be included in the indicators of nursing quality assessment received the lowest scores. For the practices, participating nurses had higher overall scores on the implementation of caring behaviours. The relatively low scores were related to the formation of the humanistic care team, the visits and accompanying of patients' relatives, and the participation in humanistic care training. The scores for each dimension are shown in Table 2.

4.3 Correlation analysis
The results of the single-factor analysis for each dimension are shown in Table 3. The scores of each index were used as dependent variables. The variables that the results of the single-factor analyses showed to be meaningful were set as independent variables, and the scores of the knowledge and the attitudes indexes were also used as independent variables. Stepwise linear regression analysis (αentry=0.05, αremoval=0.10) was used to derive the correlates affecting the scores of clinical nursing faculty on each dimension. The results of stepwise linear regression for knowledge, attitudes and practices dimensions are shown in Table 4.
