Research Square was created as a parent company with the purpose of incubating and launching startups without the burden of ties to any external funding, investors or shareholders. All Research Square companies will be connected by a common purpose to serve the research community as a for-benefit business (living in the space between for-profit and non-profit). Yet each company also has the freedom to operate independently from the others in pursuit of its goals of sustainability and impact.
