Measurement of heavy metals lead, zinc, and cadmium
In this study, the mean concentrations of lead, zinc, and cadmium elements in the dead male pigeon feather inside of Zinc Industrial Town 17.125, 319.25, 1.735 (μg/g)[1], respectively, as well as the average concentration of lead, zinc, and cadmium in the live male pigeon feather inside of Zinc Industrial Town were determined 14.825, 301.0625, 1.365 (μg/g). as well as the average concentration of lead, zinc, and cadmium in the dead female pigeon feather inside of Zinc Industrial Town 17.455, 378.75, 1.927 (μg/g) , as well as the average concentration of lead, zinc, and cadmium in the live female pigeon feather inside of Zinc Industrial Town were determined ,15.146, 307.562, 1.477(μg/g) (Fig 2).
In this study, The mean concentrations of lead, zinc, and cadmium elements in dead male pigeon feather of control species outside in the Zinc Industrial Town were determined 2.175, 57.5, 0.575 (μg/g), respectively, as well as the average concentration of lead, zinc, and cadmium in the live male pigeon feather outside the Zinc Industrial Town were determined 0.8, 34.5, 0.32(μg/g). as well as the average concentration of lead, zinc, and cadmium in the dead female pigeon feather outside in the Zinc Industrial Town 3, 62.5, 0.95(μg/g) , as well as the average concentration of lead, zinc, and cadmium in the live female pigeon feather outside in the Zinc Industrial Town were determined ,1.425, 44.5, 0.475 (μg/g) (Fig 3).
Consequantly, the results of measuring the concentration of lead, zinc and cadmium in feather of Columba livia inside in the industrial town of Zinc-Zanjan indicated that the amount of these three elements in dead female pigeons> dead male pigeons> live female pigeons> live male pigeons, which indicates that the amount of heavy elements in the dead specimens was higher than in the live specimens and the amount of the same elements in the female was higher than in the males. This was also the case with the control species outside in the industrial town of Zinc-Zanjan.
In general, in the present study, the mean concentrations of heavy metal in the elements lead, zinc, and cadmium in four groups (dead male -live male-dead female-live female) were evaluated, the average concentration of lead, zinc and cadmium metals of Columba livia feather inside in the industrial town of Zinc-Zanjan was obtained 16.14175, 623.678625, and 1.626125 (μg/g), respectively. Compared to the control specimens collected and analyzed outside the industrial town, the average concentration of lead, zinc, and cadmium metals are equal to 1.85, 49.75, and 0.46125 (μg/g) was determined, respectively.
Comparing the samples inside in the industrial town of Zinc-Zanjan and the control samples outside in the industrial town of Zinc-Zanjan also showed a significant level of difference between the two cases.
