the responses to the first "economic" indicator from the survey questionnaires about the economic standard, and from them we draw the conclusion that the economic standard has a strong significance for the heritage village, which is endorsed by the arithmetic mean value of the standard (12.95) and the standard deviation (1.28), while the availability rates recorded a strong relationship to the conditions of the criterion, as the per cent availability was higher than the mean availability rate. The findings showed a value of (0.60) for the presence of traditional crafts in the village together with the presence of unique environmental businesses, and a value of (1.00) for the village possessing a tourist destination to support the significant correlation of the criterion. The standard deviation values for the participants' responses to the conditions of the criteria varied between (0.00) and (0.89), indicating a moderate association between the economic criterion and the heritage villages.
the responses to the second "historical" indicator's questionnaire questions pertaining to the time standard, and from them we realise that the time standard has a strong significance for the heritage village, which is supported by the arithmetic mean average value of the standard (12.70) and the standard deviation (2.52); in conversely, the availability rates recorded an average relationship to the conditions of the criterion, as the per-person availability rate was on par with the arithmetic mean (the age of the village). The findings showed a value of (0.70) for the village displaying the time and date in which it was founded with the availability of distinctive environmental industries, and a value of (0.60) for the village expressing the significance of the historical era to which it belongs to highlight the average relationship of the criterion. The standard deviation values for the participants' responses to the criteria's conditions varied between (0.76) and (1.12), indicating an average association between the time standard and the heritage villages.
the responses to the second "historical" indicator's questionnaire relevant questions to the event criterion. Based on this data, we could indeed conclude that the event criterion has a medium significance for the heritage village, which is endorsed by the criterion's arithmetic mean value (2.70) and standard deviation ( 0.80), the percent of availability of the criterion condition, that the village is connected to a significant historical event at the local or national level (apart from the planning itself), was recorded at 0.40, and the value of the standard deviation was recorded at 0.80 for the participants' responses to the standard condition, giving the establishment of an average relationship between Standard event and the heritage villages.
the responses to the second "historical" indicator's questionnaire questions pertaining to the people standard. From these figures, we derive that the significance of the people standard for the heritage village is weak, which is supported by the arithmetic mean value of the standard (4.50) and the standard deviation ( 0.95), the percentage of availability for the criterion condition was (0.55) due to the village's association with a famous planner, designer, or historical figure, either during his lifetime or after his death, as well as with the fact that the village serves as an azimuth or a path of movement that connects important areas, buildings, and uses, even though the availability rates showed an average relationship to the criterion's conditions. It also has a unique value. The outcomes showed a value of (0.50) to support the criterion's mean relationship. The standard deviation values for the participants' responses to the criteria's conditions ranged between (0.72) and (0.75), indicating a moderate association between the standard of living and heritage villages.
the responses to the third "urban" indicator from the survey questions related to the urban criterion. From them, we can infer that this urban criterion has a strong indication of the heritage village, which was confirmed by the arithmetic mean value of the criterion (8.70) and the standard deviation (4.03), while the availability rates recorded a strong relationship to the conditions of the criterion, as the percentage of available units was monitored. to emphasise the medium relationship of the criterion, the results showed a value of (0.60) for the availability of a service structure for tourism or cultural activity. The value of it depicted a unique urban fabric, and the value of the village a variety of heritage of a historical or cultural character was (0.45). The standard deviation values for the respondents' responses to the conditions of the criteria ranged between (0.60) and (1.43), indicating a moderate link between the urban criterion and the heritage villages.
the responses to the fourth indicator, "Rarity and Originality", from the questionnaire relevant questions to the environmental standard have a medium significance for the heritage village. This conclusion is based on by the arithmetic mean value of the standard (8.70) and the standard deviation. (4.03), the percentage of availability for the criterion condition (0.50) that the village comprises a large crops or architectural plants or certain scarce, and with regard to the village having biological diversity connected to livestock and fisheries and the like, the findings indicate a value of while the availability rates recorded a strong relationship to the conditions of the criterion, as the percentage of
availability for the criterion condition (0.50) that the village contains rare and exotic species of plants and animals, rare and exotic species of livestock, and (0.35) To support the average relationship of the criterion, the village's worth in preserving its degree of integrity and safety from distortions and alterations to its metropolitan surrounds was (0.35). The standard deviation values for the respondents' responses to the questions pertaining to the criteria ranged from (0.60) to (1.88), which indicates that there is little correlation between the environmental criterion and the heritage villages.
It can be extrapolated from Figs. 26 and 27 that the responses to the fifth indicator, "architectural and technical," from the questionnaire questions pertaining to the schematic criterion, have a strong indication of the heritage village. This conclusion is supported by the value of the arithmetic mean of the criterion (20.25) and the standard deviation (1.55), while the availability rates recorded a strong relationship to the conditions.
The findings showed that the village had a value of (0.30) when it came to being regarded as a rare and unusual work, and that the village had a value of (0.15) when it came to reflecting a significant moment in planning or urban design history or in reflecting a period of time. When it first appeared, the findings showed a value of (0.00). The value of the village having structures or amenities in a certain style was (0.15), and a value of (0.5) was noted for the village having structures using uncommon building materials or processes. (0.5) is used to highlight the criterion's mean relationship. The standard deviation values for the participants' responses to the conditions of the criteria varied between (0.51) and (0.94), indicating a moderate association between the planning criterion and the heritage villages.
Figures 28 and 29 display the responses to the sixth "community" indicator that were tracked from the survey questionnaires about the functional standard. From this, it can be concluded that the functional standard has a weak significance for the heritage village, which was confirmed by the arithmetic mean value of the standard (8.45) and the standard deviation (1.64), while the availability rates recorded a strong relationship to the conditions of the criterion, as the percentage of respondents who said they were available to do so. The findings showed that the village's capacity for organisation, fund-raising, community engagement, and security was valued at (0.5), while the village's capacity for security was valued at (0.00), and the village's capacity for tourist or cultural reasons was valued at (0.00). The outcomes showed a value of (0.00) to support the criterion's mean relationship. The standard deviation values for the respondents' responses to the criterion conditions' questions ranged between (0.49) and (0.97), indicating a weak link between the functional criterion and the heritage villages.
The results of the seventh and final "scientific" indicator of the questionnaire questions pertaining to the educational standard were tracked in Figs. 30 and 31. From them, it can be inferred that the educational standard has a weak significance for the heritage village, which was supported by the value of the standard's arithmetic mean (8.30) and standard deviation. (1.53), the percentage of availability for the criterion condition that the village be a source of interpretation or documentation of significant historical information (0.00) and with regard to the village having a historical role in the conservation of animal or plant nature, its abundance and diversity, were both weakly correlated with the conditions of the criterion, but the results nonetheless showed a value of 0. (0.00), to consider the village as a location to teach and educate people about their history and civilisation, the value of (0.00) was recorded. The outcomes showed a value of (0.00) to support the criterion's mean relationship.
The standard deviation values for the respondents' responses to the criterion conditions' questions ranged between (0.50) and (0.91), indicating a fragile correlation between the functional criterion and the heritage villages.
In order to support development priorities, meet up with the global and regional, and shed light on the heritage components of a global and regional character that these Egyptian villages possess, the study produced a recommendation or a proposal for additional criteria and terms of reference for registering and documenting heritage villages in Egypt.
In addition to the criteria specified in the text of the current law, the outcomes of the questionnaire analysis added a number of criteria conditions that had not been mentioned in the law. They also determined the extent to which any of them are required as additional terms of reference through which the local heritage Egyptian villages can be monitored and documented at the global and regional levels. It was assessed using the insights of a team of specialists and subject-matter experts, Fig. 30.
While the environmental, planning, functional, and educational criteria showed only weak indications in relation to the heritage villages and their component units, the outcomes of the questionnaire analysis revealed a medium degree for the criteria of economy, time, event, people, urban criterion, and conditions.
The study demonstrated to the administrative component of the villages in the Luxor Governorate being classified as follows based on the study's current state, the degree of availability of heritage components, and the conclusions drawn from the list of criteria and conditions:
The research incorporated a list of the heritage villages in Luxor Governorate as a case study through the results of the research, Fig. 31, which combines the findings of the survey and the field study in the villages of Luxor Governorate, Egypt, and to determine the availability of putting forward the criteria presented in the investigation to confirm the degree of their conformity, highlighting them to put them in the priorities of development plans and striving to include them and registering them with international and regional organisations, which expands the state of Egypt's economic resources and improves the prospects for grants and investments in these communities.
