The accuracy of the estimates of different specialties of the overall treatment costs is shown in Table 5. In total, none of the groups of experts participating in this research could correctly estimate at least 75% of the cost of the items. As a result, the accuracy of the estimation of all participating expert groups of the treatment costs in this study has been evaluated as low. The most accurate estimate of treatment costs is related to emergency medicine specialists (21.5%) and the weakest estimate is related to internal medicine and obstetrics specialists (12.4%). Also, this study shows that the internal experts participating in this research tended to estimate the cost of items more than the actual price (68.4%).
Based on the results of this study, all groups of experts participating in this study often tended to estimate treatment costs more than the actual cost.
