In the current employment situation for Chinese college graduates, there is a growing prevalence of dishonesty in securing jobs. This is not only poses challenges for the graduates themselves, but also leads to higher costs and difficulties for employers in the recruitment process. Additionally, it impacts the reputation of colleges and the development of social credit systems. This paper analyzes the long-term employment dishonesty of graduates by evolutionary game theory. The findings indicate that addressing this problem requires enhancing graduates’ education on honest employment, fostering a sense of awareness about the importance of honest employment, ensuring effective channels for supervision and reporting, decreasing the immediate advantages of dishonest employment, and intensifying the penalties for graduates involved in dishonest practices.
