One essential instrument for guaranteeing the secure and dependable operation of power systems is short circuit analysis (SCA). This study looks into the use of ETAP software for SCA on a power system's single line diagram (SLD). The goals of the study are to
Emphasize the role that SCA plays in power system protection strategies. Use SLDs to illustrate how the power system is represented. Describe the SCA functionalities of the ETAP software. A summary of the methodology section will be given, detailing how to create and run a SCA within ETAP with the supplied SLD. The main conclusions will be discussed, including the following:
